Making of Molten Cool

I thought it might be a good exercise to show some before and after images of my favourite photos. To start, here is one of my most favourite, taken on my Nikon D40, Molten Cool which is a lovely vintage car Diana brought for us at Flickr, Portsmouth at Night.

So firstly, thanks to all the guys at PAN for the lighting and Diana for the car. This photo has my customary slight vignetting around the edges to direct your eyes to the middle, a boosting of the contrast and saturation. The slight blue on the slight blue torch light wavering around on the ground around the car have had their blue dramatically boosted and enhanced to contrast with the orange car and sky. Finally I've cropped it square to remove the spurious torch light and give it a more pleasing view.
